2022: Treasurer Dereck Davis

Treasurer Dereck Davis is a former member of the Maryland General Assembly, having served for over 25 years in the Maryland House of Delegates. During his time in the House of Delegates, Treasurer Davis served as a strong voice for economic development and a supporter of our Greater College Park Initiative. Additionally, in his former role as Chair of the Economic Matters Committee, Davis was and continues to be supportive of Public Higher Education in the state and, in particular, the University of Maryland as the Flagship Campus. Now in his role as Treasurer, Davis serves as the chief representative of the State dealing with financial rating agencies and investment banking firms. Treasurer Davis is a proud double Terp with a bachelor’s degree in government and politics and a master’s degree in public policy.
