Reese Artero is a senior majoring in Criminology/Criminal Justice with minors in Nonprofit Leadership and Social Innovation and Science, Technology, Ethics & Policy (STEP) who began her journey as a student advocate at the University of Maryland in the Residence Hall Association. Upon transitioning into the Student Government Association, Reese has worked on various projects such as power-based violence prevention, gender-affirming care, the accessibility audit, and more. Her other involvements include Women’s Club Volleyball, the Filipino Cultural Association, the University Senate, and the Asian American Student Union.
