About
Prabhudev Konana became dean of Maryland Smith in January 2021 after serving as associate dean of instructional innovation at the University of Texas at Austin's McCombs School of Business.
Among other honors and awards, he has received a National Science Foundation CAREER Award, the University of Texas Regents' Outstanding Teaching Award and was inducted into UT's Department of Information, Risks, and Operations Management, he developed new master's programs in business analytics; information technology and management; and health care transformation as a joint venture between UT's business and medical schools.
Konana holds a bachelor of technology degree from the University of Mysore in India and a master of business administration and Ph.D. from the University of Arizona, Tucson.
