Chief Information Officer
Jeff Hollingsworth has served in his position since June 2017 and is a longtime computer science professor. He leads the IT strategy, infrastructure and services provided by nearly 300 full-time staff and about 250 students. Hollingsworth has researched high-performance computing, and his work has been used by major federal laboratories and incorporated into products made by SGI, IBM and Red Hat.
Hollingsworth serves on the board of trustees of Internet2, a national research and education network, and on the higher education board of advisors for Cisco and Spunk. Hollingsworth received his B.S. in electrical engineering from the University of California, Berkeley, and his M.S. and doctoral degrees in computer science from the University of Wisconsin.
